The ISIS Crisis. The Chequered History of the ICC.
Zafar Bangash unscrambles the mystery of ISIS, defining them as extremist Wahhabi mercenaries supported especially by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan. The US has been training ISIS in Jordan since 2012. The ultimate aim is to destroy the independent Islamic Republic of Iran, which has exposed Saudi Arabia's corruption, incompetence and subservience to the US and Zionist interests. ISIS terrorism will come back to haunt Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and other countries (including Western countries) which supported them.
David Hoile has just released a study on the history of the ICC: the whole thing's a disaster.
Hoile and Taylor note the ICC's racism (all defendants are from Africa), cost (billions of Euros), incompetency of judges (some ignorant of presumption of innocence), corruption as a political puppet of the EU and US, and prolonging of civil wars that led untold thousands of deaths and massive displacement.

Obama supports Poroshenko’s attack "on his own people." Author Fred Jerome remembers Ruby Dee, Robeson, DuBois and Communist Party solidarity with black artists
Rick Rozoff of STOP NATO discusses the junta tactics of recently "elected" Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko. This is the largest-scale military activity in the history of Ukraine. It is being conducted against civilian centers. Rozoff also discusses Turkey's role in the current situation in Iraq and Syria.
Everyone is expecting voices to emerge challenging America's visibly lying media and President, but there's only silence. This is decadence in real-time.
Fred Jerome gives a fascinating account of 1950s life with his communist parents, whose apartment was a centre for cultural work for the (often blacklisted) greats such as Paul Robeson, W.E.B Du Bois, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Lorraine Hansberry. Jerome's father was arrested and spent several years in prison. They also discussed Obama's war agenda, unjust immigration policies, drones for "national security" and imperialist wars past/present.
Jerome is author of Einstein on Race and Racism (2005) and The Einstein File: J. Edgar Hoover's Secret War Against the World's Most Famous Scientist (2002).

The Strange Case of a Rwanda Refugee Applicant. Rwanda and the role of alternative media. Double Standard on Terrorism.
Immigration lawyer Lisa Winter-Card discusses the strange case of Rwandan refugee applicant, Jean Berchment Habinshuti, who faces deportation
The case is strange because Habinshuti served as secretary to Prime Minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana, who was assassinated in 1994, and was widely perceived as a moderate. The present Rwandan government has a well-earned reputation for persecution of dissent. As Ms Lisa Winter-Card makes clear, Mr. Habinshuti is at risk.
In an unusual turn of events, KPFA host and journalist Ann Garrison interviews our host, Phil Taylor.
Edward S. Herman identified Western reporting on Rwanda as the greatest victory of the propaganda system in recent decades. In the context of trials over Rwanda, Phil and Ann explore the challenges faced by alternative radio programmers in countering the corporate media consensus.
Phil interviews Keith Bolender, author of "Voices from the other side," an oral history of terrorism against Cuba, and "Cuba Under Siege."
Keith talks about the arrest in Cuba of four terrorists based in Miami, Florida, who were planning to attack a Cuban military base in April 2014.
He also discusses the U.S. double standard on terrorism with regard to the "Cuban Five."
