Dr. Uri Davis, Dr. David Hoile
Phil interviews Dr. Uri Davis, author of the book Apartheid Israel: Possibilities for the Struggle Within. Dr. Davis describes himself as a Palestinian Jew. He states that Israeli laws reserving 93% of its land for Jews mean that Israel is the only apartheid state in the current UN, and deserves to be singled out for sanctions and boycotts to enforce compliance with international law. His current speaking tour in Canada is focusing on the Jewish National Fund of Canada which, in the guise of a charitable institution, has financed Canada Park. This park is entirely on illegally-occupied territory. Three Arab villages were razed to create the park and their inhabitants expelled and turned into refugees. Dr. Davis urges that charitable status should not be accorded to a Fund that finances what is in fact a crime versus humanity.
Phil also interviews Dr. David Hoile, Director of the European Sudanese Public Affairs Council. Dr. Hoile speaks from Khartoum about the current situation in Darfur, and the campaign by the US to put impossible demands on the government of Sudan to prepare the way for intervention.

On the other hand, former UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali declared to the author that the “Rwandan genocide was 100 percent American responsibility. How can such contradictory interpretations coexist?
