Phil interviews Des Dalton, Vice-President of Republican Sinn Fein, regarding the recent IRA declaration that it was "dumping" arms, the struggle for a united Ireland, and the use of Ireland's Shannon airport by the U.S. military.

Phil's second guest was Tamara Rosenleaf, wife of a U.S. soldier who is soon to be shipped for duty in Iraq. Tamara spoke from the ongoing demonstration outside the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas where she has joined Cindy Sheehan, who is demanding the President tell her why her son had to die in a phoney "noble cause".

The program also features a song, Mother's Son, by singer-songwriter, labour militant and anti-war militant, Mike Hersh.

Karaoke Union Songs CD

The world's first karaoke CD of labour music has just been released. Karaoke Union Songs is a coproduction of the Steelworkers Union and People's Progressive Karaoke.

There is a big launch party Thursday, March 22 at 25 Cecil St. in Toronto (south of College St., East of Spadina). Doors open at 7 pm, the band's first set is at 7:30 pm and a buffet will be served at 8:00 with jerk chicken, rice and peas and salad. After that there will be lots more live music featuring performers from the CD, and karaoke. Free admission, cash bar.

The CD features some of the stirring music that has been a central part of workers' struggles over the past century. These are all-new recordings. They are exciting and fresh, and feature great vocal performances and wonderful musici...
