He also spoke to Richard Gallian of the Black Loyalists organization in Nova Scotia. Mr. Gallian talked about the racist arson attacks on the office of the Black Loyalists and a black museum in Dartmouth.

In the 2nd half hour Phil was joined in the studio by Miguel San Vicente of A Different Booklist and on the phone by Peter Leibovitch of the United Steel Workers. Peter and Miguel reported on their attendence at the World Social Forum in Caracas Venezuela with special attention to their efforts in solidarity with Haitians demanding the return of President Aristide and the withdrawal of foreign forces from that country.
